Instructor Bios

Bridget Grace is a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt and instructor under Renzo Gracie. She has been teaching women’s classes at Renzo Gracie Academy HQ for several years. She began training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since 2012 and her favorite Jiu-Jitsu moves are strangles and arm locks. Bridget received her black belt from Master Renzo Gracie in 2020

Allie Quinones, born in Mount Holly, NJ and raised in Medford, NJ; she currently resides in Hoboken, NJ. Now a Black belt professor teaching in Jersey City at TRA (Thiago Rela Academy). Starting at the age of 5 she’s been an athlete over 40 years, amassing 8 varsity letters in High School then moving onto collegiate rugby. Had the opportunity to attend the first ever National Collegiate camp for USA Rugby and then played competitive Women’s Rugby in the Southern California Union along with being a team member of the SoCal Select Side. She was raised by a single father who wrestled for Kutztown University, PA and who also was inducted to the South Jersey Hall of Fame for coaching. Spending her entire childhood in wrestling rooms while attending numerous matches, she’s no stranger to grappling. With the guidance of Professor Rob Constance (Black Belt under Renzo Gracie), she started jiu-jitsu in 2014. Having trained Muay Thai at that point for 5+ years, jiu-jitsu enhanced her confidence and love for grappling.

The respect and love for the support inspired her goal of growing the female jiu-jitsu community. With the blessing of Thiago Rela, she started the women’s Bjj program at TRA back in 2019. She is committed to paying it forward by giving back to the community that has given so much to her over the years.
