She is also the co-owner of 4 Gracie Barra Jiu Jitsu academies, a worldwide seminar and camp facilitator, a podcast host of her show, Get A Grip, and a combat sports commentator and interviewer for both IBJJF and FloGrappling. Kendall’s passion for sharing authentically on social media have led to a focus on content creation, where she speaks openly about the ins and outs of the life of a female athlete in a male dominated environment. Additional accomplishments include Her triumphs as a 3x Polaris Champion, Grapplefest Champion, ADCC East Coast Trials Champion, and F2W Champion.
Holly Reusing was first introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the original California Rickson Gracie Academy when she and her husband moved across the country in 1995. Years later, on the heels of completing a Masters degree in Marriage and Family Counseling, she started training in 2006 with a Gracie Barra school in Temecula along with her family and since has opened and runs 4 academies in Southern California. During her early years in BJJ, Holly began researching women’s experiences in BJJ training, while completing her PhD coursework in Jungian Psychology, and subsequently completed her dissertation on the transformative aspects of BJJ training for individuals and communities. Holly now enjoys managing and growing her 4 teams in order to bring the benefits of Jiu Jitsu to the lives of as many people as possible.
Emma Reusing grew up in Southern California and holds a purple belt guided by her family who have 4 Gracie Barra schools. She wrestled for four years in high school and became one of the top girls in the country, taking 2nd place in CA State. During that time, Emma also excelled at freestyle wrestling with the USA Wrestling girls team for several years. In college, she continued her grappling journey as a jiu-jitsu competitor while she completed her bachelors degree in pre med from UC San Diego. While living in Austin, TX this past year, she has had the opportunity to train with Professors Xande Ribeiro and Felipe Costa on a regular basis. She has excelled in competition in the colored belts, including many double gold performances at IBJJF Opens and medaling at IBJJF Majors. She is passionate about inspiring women to build their confidence and learn how to defend themselves. Beyond her training, Emma has a passion for working with animals and will be starting veterinary school this fall.
