Spring into Summer 7 Day Meal Plan with SophiaFIT

Summer is here, and if you’re like me, you may be carrying a few extra pounds from winter. And, much like me, you probably want to shed those pounds. But with all the fad diets out there, how do you know what will work for your body type? We hear constantly that the foundation of a healthy lifestyle is to eat well and exercise. Luckily with the help of the Internet, we can access healthy tools easier than ever before.

Not all of us can afford a nutritionist, and many fall victim to trendy diets. Personally I am not a fan of them. Many of these get-slim-quick diets seem gimmicky or merely a temporary solution. Even worse, many people pack on the pounds shortly after ending these diets.

Throughout my life I have seen my body fluctuate roughly 15 pounds up and down from 120 to 135 pounds. In college, I definitely suffered from the Freshman 15. However,  at 19 my youthful metabolism helped me bounce back. Unfortunately, trying to lose weight in your mid-30s just isn’t quite the same. When I became severely ill a few years ago I gained a whopping 45 pounds over the period of just a few months. Needless to say it is a struggle I am still fighting.

Yes, gaining weight sucks, but my struggle wasn’t necessarily the fact that I had gained weight. I struggled with feeling trapped in my body. I felt tired all the time and weak. I dreamed of feeling strong and healthy again, a dream that at the time seemed hard to grasp.

That was until I tried the Spring into Summer 7 Day Meal Plan with SophiaFIT. I am a huge fan of the 30 yummy recipes. And I’m a bigger fan of the results I’m seeing. Over the course of the past month and half I have lost five pounds. It’s kickstarted a lifestyle change for me. I have increased energy and feel strong for the first time in a long time. Most importantly I feel healthier than I have in years.

With my busy schedule it gets hard to make healthy decisions all the time. But the best part of the Spring into Summer meals is that they are super easy to make and require very little prep time. Plus, some meals and snacks don’t even involve any cooking! My favorites are the broccoli salad, salmon wrap, and Southwestern salad.

If you’re interested, check out the Spring into Summer SophiaFIT meal plan for yourself. You’re bound to find something that appeals to your palate and — like me — you’ll likely also see healthy results.
