GIG-San Antonio Recap and Photos

It was a full house on July 26th at Carlson Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Texas. What started out as a normal GIG turned out to be the new record holder for the most number of participants at a GIG event. Women and girls traveled from all across Texas (Houston, Austin, Killeen, Baytown and Seguin) representing seventeen different academies. Women and girls ranging in experience from their first day to a black belt shared the mats and their passion for Jiu-Jitsu.

Lana Hunter, a veteran GIG member, had the opportunity to host on her home turf for the first time. She lead the group through a warm up, drills, technique, structured rolling and then open mat. Lana’s exemplary leadership skills and talent on the mats shined through. She has since been asked to host her own seminar which will take place on August 15th at Patriot Martial Arts. Lana’s seminar raised $100 for GIG! Thank you all for your contribution and donation! Check out all the action from GIG-San Antonio at www.mymeanstreak.com
